Littleton Fire Rescue Station No. 19
SQUARE FEET:
7,851 SF
LOCATION:
Littleton, CO
Project Description
LFR envisioned improving city-wide emergency response times with a new fire station in Trailmark. Due to a unique combination of funding sources, they needed a strategically tailored design that could balance the competing goals and limited funding for the project. Utilizing a non-traditional contract method with a general contractor, Intergroup effectively provided a solution that guaranteed LFR a $2.2 million maximum project price and on-schedule project completion. Designed for multiple purposes, this new 7,850 SF facility accommodates for 24/7/365 fire, police, and public works services. The design not only meets the demands of LFR today, but is also flexible for the future with apparatus bays and bunkers for a long-term, fully functional EMS station.
